Founder's Day Weekend 2016!

As always, all alumnae are invited back for reunions, but this year specifically celebrates the reunions of the following classes: 1951, 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2015.

Registration runs from January 15 through March 15!  It is not too early to book a room as many hotels fill up quickly for the weekend.

What is Founder's Day?

Founder's Day is one of the oldest, most cherished traditions at Cottey College.  It began the first academic year, 1884-1885, on March 27 as a celebration of the birthday of Cottey's founder, Virginia Alice Cottey Stockard.  The tradition has carried on over the hundreds of years, and, today, alumnae return to visit their alma mater, attend special events, and renew treasured friendships.
