Musical Group The Strive Performs March 29 at Cottey
Pop-indie musical group The Strive will perform at Cottey College on Saturday, March 29, at 8 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts.
The Strive is breaking ground with a fiery, infectious spin on today’s power-pop vibe on the indie music scene. With heartfelt, very personal lyrics and music, these 20- and 21-year old artists are providing powerhouse performances that are genuine and original. They have shared the stage with Colbie Caillat, Gavin DeGraw, Hawthorne Heights, Yellowcard, and performed on the Warped Tour.
Tickets for The Strive are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the evening of the performance.
The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
