March 29 Piano Trio Concert now Cello Concert
The Piano Trio Concert, originally scheduled for Friday, March 29, has been changed to a cello concert by Matthew Herren due to a scheduling conflict with the visiting faculty artists. The concert time and location remain the same, the Missouri Recital Hall at 8 p.m.
Cellist Matthew Herren is active in the musical life of New York City and the American Midwest as chamber musician, soloist, orchestral principal, and educator. He regularly appears at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center with Orchestra of St. Luke's and with the Southeast Kansas Symphony Orchestra, the Lawrence Chamber Orchestra, and the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas.
A graduate of the Juilliard School, Mr. Herren is lecturer in cello at Pittsburg State University, where he conducts the PSU Chamber Orchestra. He also serves on the music faculty of Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri.
The Recital Hall is inside the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri.
