Singer Chris Ayer to Perform April 3
Singer Chris Ayer will perform at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, in Raney Dining Room on the Cottey College campus.
Chris Ayer is a Brooklyn, New York, based singer-songwriter. He grew up in Virginia and got his start singing along to old cassette tapes of Elvis and Paul Simon on car rides. He won the Lennon Award in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the folk category and has been a recent finalist in two other songwriting contests. Beyond strictly folk music, elements of pop, rock, soul, and country influence his sound.
Tickets for Chris Ayer are $5 for adults and $4 for those under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the night of the performance.
Raney Dining Room is in the lower level of Robertson Hall on the southeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in Nevada, Missouri. Parking is available in the lot immediately behind Robertson Hall which is accessible off of Tower Street.
