Performance Art by Richard Hight September 15
Some might think that art, painting in particular, is a static
experience. Artist Richard Hight will change your mind on Saturday,
September 15, when he takes the stage in the Cottey College
Auditorium at 8 p.m.
Richard Hight is a living artist who paints like a dead one! It
all happens within minutes-at times with broad strokes and at
others with intense detail. Vibrant color is set on eight-foot
canvases as artwork is choreographed to specially selected pieces
of music which play in the background. This performance will bring
art, music, and people together. There are events you attend . . .
but this is one you experience!
Tickets for Richard Hight are $8 for adults and $6 for those
under age 18 or over age 62. Tickets will be available at the door
the evening of the performance.
The Auditorium is inside the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for
the Arts on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower streets in
Financial assistance for Richard Hight has been provided by
the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
